Hospital Radio Barnet broadcasts exclusively to the patients in Barnet Hospital, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through the wonders of modern technology, and our team of volunteers who produce live programmes every evening and at weekends. We broadcast a mix of easy listening music with a variety of specialist programmes.
Every weekday morning at 8am we have music and news clips from years gone by in the Golden Years, and at 1pm an hour of classic comedy moments. Click on a day to see what else we have to offer for that day.
2 hours of top ten hits at 10am, and live programmes from 5:30 to 10:30 pm, featuring
2 hours of Jazz at 10am, a Sherlock Holmes mystery at 3pm, and live programmes from 5 to 10:30 pm.
At 10am there are 2 hours of Country music, with live programmes from 5 to 10:30 pm.
- 6.30pm to 8pm join Simon Hart for his "Root Salad" - take a slice of folk, a piece of world, a pinch of roots, a dash of jazz & blues, a splash of psyche & progressive rock and a squeeze of cajun/country & west coast rock, all blended together with some chat and banter, to bring you the finest selection of music available this side of the alamo - "it's reel music for real people"
